Troubleshooting
4.1 Safety while troubleshooting
WARNING! Risk of injury as a result of
inadequate qualifications!
When making independent interventions for repairs
and troubleshooting, the operator can quickly expose
him/herself to potential dangers from the device,
which can result in serious injuries. Therefore:
• Never open, modify or attempt to repair the
device yourself.
• For all troubleshooting measures not described in this
operating manual, call in service personnel or contact
the manufacturer.
• Strictly adhere to the responsibilities defined in
the table below.
• If in doubt, call in service personnel or contact
the manufacturer.
• In the event of damage, ensure that the damage
incurred is minimised and prevent consequential
damage.
NOTE!
If faults occur at an increased rate, for example, due to
above-average, intensive use, the intervals for inspections
and maintenance activities must be shortened.

5.2 Maintenance work
5.2.1 Personnel
• Unless otherwise indicated, the maintenance
work described here can be carried out by the
operator.
• Work on the electrical system may only be carried
out by qualified electricians.
5.2.2 Cleaning
CAUTION! Risk of damage to property as
a result of a failure to clean or improper
cleaning!
If the device is not cleaned at all or is cleaned using
aggressive cleaning agents and methods, there is a
risk of material damage. Therefore:
• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents and/
or methods.
• Do not use compressed air or high-pressure
cleaners for cleaning.
• Proceed much more carefully in the area of the
display.
• Clean the device regularly, especially around the
ventilation slots. It must be ensured that heat can
dissipate unhindered.
• Clean the device using a dry, lint-free cloth; if it is
very dirty, clean it with a cloth slightly wetted with
mild detergent.
• Only dust the display. Otherwise there is a risk of
scratching it.
