Operation
• Check the product for damage before any commissioning, e.g. damage to the casing, seals and mains
cable/plug.
If you find any damage, the product must not be used. Repairing a damaged mains cable is not
permissible! There is danger to life from electric shock!
If the product is already connected to the mains voltage, power down the associated mains socket (e.g.
switch off circuit breaker). Also switch off the associated residual-current circuit-breaker so that the
mains supply is disconnected from mains voltage on all poles.
Only now unplug the clear water pump mains plug from the mains socket. Do not operate the product
anymore afterwards, but take it to a specialist workshop.
Leave the repair to a specialist!
• If you have reason to believe that the clear water pump can no longer be operated safely, disconnect
it immediately and make sure it is not unintentionally operated; pull the mains plug from the socket. It
can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the pump or connection lines show visible damage
- the pump no longer works
- the pump was transported or stored under difficult circumstances
- if there was any heavy stress during transport.
• The product is suitable for a mains voltage of 230 V/AC, 50 Hz of the public mains. Never operate the
product with any other voltages.
• Always disconnect the mains plug when you no longer use the device, before removing any defects or
cleaning/maintenance.
• Never pull the mains plug from the mains socket by pulling the cable. Always pull the mains plug from
the mains socket by the lateral grip areas.
Never touch the mains plug with wet or damp hands; danger to life from electric shock!
• Only transport the product at the carry handle but never at the mains cable.
• Do not shut off the outlet side of the clear water pump when it is in operation.
Use, e.g., a corresponding pressure switch to switch off power supply to the clear water pump in time.
The clear water pump pressure must not work against the closed pressure side for more than 5 minutes
to prevent damage. The water present in the clear water pump will heat up even during these 5 minutes.
When the pressure side is opened, hot water will escape; danger of scalding/injury!
• The product is not protected against extended running dry (>2 minutes).
• Using the manual operating mode means that the clear water pump must not run unsupervised.
In automatic operating mode, the float switch integrated in the casing switches off the clear water pump
once the water level has dropped below a certain height.
• The conveyed liquid (rain, tap or well water) must be as clean as possible. Contamination (e.g. sand,
earth, leaves, etc.) not only cause increased wear and thus reduced clear water pump service life, but
also poses the danger of mechanical blocking of the drive rotor and shut-off of all intake openings.
