-or reset the output „Timer ready", then a general error was occurred.
If the robot reset the input „Program start", then the control will reset the output
„Weld complete".
In a schedule with fault, the fault has to be corrected and acknowledged.
If with the start another spot number will be selected, as before with the function
program selection, then the welding schedule will not be started.
The internal spot table includes up to 256 spots (until firmware version 107).
Since firmware version 107 a greater number of spots is possible.
In addition spot comments can be stored in the welding control.
Spot numbers smaller than 256 are interpreted from the control as program
number.
7.1.2
Electrode maintenance
The electrode status outputs and the acknowledge inputs (tipp dress, tip change)
correspond to the electrode, which is assigned to the actual selected program.
While acknowledging of tipp dress or tip change for electrode 0, the acknowledge
is valid for all electrodes.
Also with the electrode maintenance a handshake is prepared for security.
The control informs the gun with the actual electrode status via the outputs
„Request tipp dress",
„Request first tipp dress",
„Electrode life warning" and
„End of stepper".
Via the both inputs „Acknowledge tipp dress" and „Acknowledge electrode have
been replaced" the robot can each time manipulate the internal tipp dress counter
and count value.
To make sure the robot can recognize that the acknowledge input would be
detected,
The both inputs are again mirrored to the outputs "Acknowledge tipp dress" and
"Acknowledge electrode have been replaced".
The output „End of stepper" will be set with each exceeding of a stepper cycle
(since firmware version 107).
Via the electrode status outputs will be set a group signal for all electrodes, if a
program is selected, which is assigned to electrode 0 (since firmware version
110).
About the tip change will be managed an own protocol (since firmware version
110).
7.1.3
Tipp dresser change
The control has additional counters, which count electrode specific each tipp
dress. These counters can be reset via programming device.
The tipp dresser warning will be set, as soon as until reaching the "tipp dresser
end of life" only a count of dressings can be done, as defined in the parameter
"tipp dresser change warning" (since firmware version 108)
If the programed max. value is reached, the output „tipp dresser end of life" will be
set.
If as max. value the value "0" is defined, then the function is disabled.
Via the input „acknowledge tipp dresser changed" the cutter count status can be
reset (since firmware version 107).
To make sure that the robot can detect, that the acknowledge input is recognized,
this input will be copied to the output "acknowledge tipp change detected".
