Before using your appliance for the first time, read the following instructions carefully
and keep them for future reference. Please respect all safety regulations and if you give
or lend the appliance to another person, make sure that you give them a copy of this
manual also.
SAFETY REGULATIONS
This appliance complies with the following European Directives:

• 230V ~ 50 Hz 12A
• This appliance is designed for domestic use and for vacuuming dry materials only. It
is not designed for vacuuming people or animals.
• Do not pull on the cable to remove the plug from the socket or to move the
appliance. Do not place the appliance on top of the cable, press the cable against
sharp edges or let it become trapped by a closed door.
• Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
• Do not use the appliance if:
- The cable is damaged
- The appliance appears to be damaged
• The appliance should not be used to vacuum:
- Liquids
- Wet carpets or rugs
- Hard or sharp objects
- Matches, ashes or cigarette ends
- Very fine dust such as cement, printer or photocopier power or plaster dust, etc.
• Do not expose the appliance to the elements, humidity or heat sources.
• Clean the appliance using a dry or damp cloth. Do not clean with water.
• Before using, check that all the filters are correctly positioned. Do not use the
appliance without filters.
Warning: If the bag is not correctly positioned in its housing, the cover will not shut.
Do not use excessive force to shut the cover.
• Unplug the appliance from the mains when not in use.
• In the event of a malfunction, switch the appliance off and do not try to repair it
yourself. Take it to an authorised technical assistance centre and always demand the
use of original accessories and spare parts.
• Never use an electric appliance if the plug or cable are damaged. If the cable has
been damaged, have it replaced by an authorised technical assistance centre.
• The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for damage resulting from incorrect,
unsuitable or irresponsible use and/or repairs carried out by unqualified personnel.
