®
Dear customer,
Thank you for purchasing the Power Peak® D7 EQ-BID automatic
battery charger from the robbe range - a high-performance 400 W
charging / discharging station for the demanding modeller. Two
outputs, each with 200 watts power and up to 20 A charge current

in a single case. The Power charger which can recharge your LiPo
batteries on the move and at home - and very quickly.
Despite being extremely easy to use, this charger is a sophistica-
ted, high-quality unit which requires a certain level of knowledge
from the user.

• Never place the charger and connected batteries on an inflam-
mable surface.
• Never operate the unit in the vicinity of inflammable materials or
gases.
● Do not leave the device unattended when in use. It is normal
for the charger to become quite hot in normal operation.
• Check regularly for damage to the casing and leads.
• Take particular care when handling battery packs with a large
number of cells. Ensure good insulation to prevent the risk of
electric shock.
• The Power Peak® D7 EQ-BID is designed only for charging,
discharging and equalizing rechargeable NiCd / NiMH / Lead-
acid and Lithium batteries. Never attempt to recharge dry
cells: explosion hazard.
• The charger is designed only for operation with a 10.5 - 18 V
DC source or 230 V AC power. Never operate the charger on a
different voltage.
• Protect the charger from dust, dirt and moisture.
• Do not expose the charger to excessively low or high tempera-
tures as well as direct sunlight.
• Avoid subjecting the unit to shock and pressure, and do not
expose it to severe vibration.
• Ensure the cooling vents are always clear to allow air to circu-
late freely.
• When not used for a long periods of time, unplug the charger
from the power source and disconnect any batteries.
• Do not charge rechargeable batteries twice in quick succes-
sion.
• Do not charge batteries that are at a high temperature. Allow
batteries to cool down to ambient temperature.
• Only cells of the same capacity and of the same make may be
charged together.
• Never charge two NiCd or NiMH batteries connected in parallel
to one output. Connect only one rechargeable battery pack at a
time.
