Indoor-outdoor thermometer
For your safety
•
Keep this device and the battery out of reach of chil-
dren.
•
Batteries contain harmful acids and may be hazardous
if swallowed. If a battery is swallowed, this can lead to
serious internal burns and death within two hours. If
you suspect a battery could have been swallowed or
otherwise caught in the body, seek medical help imme-
diately.
•
Batteries must not be thrown into a fire, short-circuit-
ed, taken apart or recharged. Risk of explosion!
•
Low batteries should be changed as soon as possible
to prevent damage caused by leaking.
•
Wear chemical-resistant protective gloves and safety
glasses when handling leaking batteries.
•
Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures,
vibrations or shocks.
1. Getting started
•
Pull the protective foil off the display.
•
Open the battery compartment by pushing the cover in
direction of the arrow and remove the insulation strip.
•
The display shows the current indoor and outdoor
temperature.

•
Slide the °C/°F switch at the back of the instrument to
change between °C (Celsius) or °F (Fahrenheit) as
temperature unit.
2. Fixing
•
Position the thermometer near a window using the
built-in hanging slot with a nail or a screw or unfold
the table stand.
•
Lead the cable with the sensing element through the
open window to the outside. The cable adapts to the
window sealing shape. (Take care of sharp-edged win-
dow frames – avoid frequent opening and closing the
window).
•
Avoid radiators and direct sunshine.
3. Maximum and minimum values
•
Press the MAX/MIN button and the highest and lowest
indoor temperatures are displayed since the last reset.
•
Press the MAX/MIN button again, the display shows
the highest and lowest outdoor temperatures since the
last reset.
•
To go back to the present temperature display, press
the MAX/MIN button once more. The instrument will
automatically quit the MAX/MIN mode if no button is
pressed within 15 seconds.
