Pressing with Geberit Volex pressing collars
CAUTION
Danger of cutting due to sharp edges on the Geberit
pressfitting
Defective Geberit pressing collars can cause sharp edges
to form on the Geberit pressfitting.

Only use pressing collars that are in perfect working
order and are maintained.
▶
Check the pressfitting for sharp edges after the
pressing procedure and replace the pressing collar if
necessary.
CAUTION
Danger of crushing
▶
Keep your hands at a safe distance from the Geberit
pressing collar and adapter jaw.
ATTENTION
Damage to the Geberit pressing collar due to a failed
pressing sequence
The Geberit pressing collar can be damaged by a failed pressing
sequence.
▶
Replace the damaged pressing collar and take it out of
service.
