how to operate the appliance
The appliance features internal controls. Check that the voltage in your home corresponds with the voltage printed on the
back of the appliance and plug it in a socket.
THERMOSTAT SETTING
The thermostat automatically regulates the inside temperature of the compartments. By rotating the knob from position 1
to 5, colder temperatures can be obtained. Note: rotating the knob beyond position 1 to "�" will stop the appliance.
1-2:
for short-term storage of food in the freezer compartment, you can set the knob between the minimum and
medium position.
3-4:
for long-term storage of food in the freezer compartment, you can set the knob to the medium position.
5:
for freezing fresh food. The appliance will run for colder temperatures.
Set the thermostat on setting 3. The appliance now cools continuously until the set temperature has been reached. Do
not place anything in the refrigerator until the set temperature is reached. This usually takes 2 or 3 hours. Then set the
thermostat at the desired setting and place food into the refrigerator.
Attention:
The ambient air temperature, how often the door is opened and the position of the appliance can affect the internal
temperature. These factors must be taken into account when setting the thermostat.
• Never introduce volatile, inflammable or explosive fluids such as alcohol, acetone or petrol because of the risk of
explosion.
• A 5 minute delaying function is applied to prevent damage to the compressor of your appliance, when you take the
plug out and then plug it in again to operate it or when an energy breakdown occurs. Your appliance will start to operate
normally after 5 minutes.
SUPER SWITCH
Normally set this switch to '0' position. The following situations are exceptions:
• when the ambient temperature is low like in winter. (ie.below 16°C)
• or when the freezer temperature needs to be maintained lower.
Turn the switch on to position 1 when one of the above situations apply. To set super switch on that is on the thermostat box,
press the switch down to position 1. The switch will lit. When the freezer compartment is cooled down to sufficient
temperature, or the weather gets hot, turn the super switch off to save electrical consumption.
SUPER FREEZING : If ambient temperature is more than 16°C, this switch must be used as superfreeze switch. For
maximum freezing capacity, please turn on this switch when placing fresh food. After placing fresh food in the freezer, 24
hours with the super switch on is generally sufficient. In order to save energy, please turn off this switch after 24 hours from
placing fresh food.

ACCESSORIES
• Fill the ice tray with water and place it in the freezer compartment.
• After the water has completely turned into ice, you can twist the tray as shown below to get the ice cubes out of the tray.
