IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE ASSEMBLY
The 3-fold suction foot is suitable for all smooth surfaces such as tables, walls or glass plate. Please pay
attention to the following instructions to ensure a safe but not permanent installation:
ƒ The surface to which the suction cup is to be attached must be smooth and flat. Safe adhesion cannot be guaranteed
on rough or curved surfaces.
ƒ Suitable surfaces are smooth, non-arched plastic and glass windows, GRP and aluminium surfaces, steel sheets.
ƒ Note that a vacuum is created when the suction foot is attached. Check beforehand whether the mounting surface is
suitable for this purpose. Especially on thin surfaces (e.g. foild-vehicle) which are not connected to the surface, it can
lead to damage to the surface.
ƒ If you are not sure whether you can use the suction foot on your vehicle, please contact the vehicle manufacturer.
Megasat Werke GmbH will not accept any liability for damage caused by improper handling!
ƒ Clean the surface of the vehicle and the suction cups of the suction foot. There must be no dust, dirt or other foreign
particles on the surfaces to ensure a secure hold.
ƒ After dismantling the suction foot, it is normal for slight residues or imprints to occur. These can be removed with a
dry cloth.
ƒ Once you have installed the suction foot, you should check it for strength every 24 hours and open the locking brackets
approx. every 48 hours, press the suction foot on and close it again. This ensures that the suction foot does not lose its
stability and always adheres firmly to the surface.
ƒ The maximum total load of the suction feet is approx. 120 kg.
