Recognizing fiducials correctly
Due to different image qualities, errors in the recognition of the fiducials can occur.
Image settings (e.g. camera lighting) can influence the image quality in such a way
that fiducials are not correctly recognized or random contours (e.g. chips or material
discoloration) are accepted by the software as fiducials.
The following conditions must be guaranteed for automatic fiducials recognition:
• Camera settings
− The material is displayed very brightly (ideally white) in the image area.
− The holes are shown very dark (ideally black).
Image focus

− The contours are clearly delimited from one another.

Configuring the camera
1. In the menu bar click on Camera > Options > Image settings.
Alternatively, you can open a context menu by right-clicking on the camera image.
There, click on the entry Show settings to open the camera settings.
The following dialog is displayed:


2. Adjust the values of the sliders Automatic exposure reference and Camera light
until the material is as bright as possible and the holes are shown as dark as
possible.
If the slider Automatic exposure reference is not available, you can adjust the
image using the sliders Exposure and Camera light.
3. Click on [Close].

The camera has been configured.
