Description
This accessory makes hot water priority possible at large
heat pump outputs (charging power between 15 and
40 kW), e. g. F2300-14 (together with an SMO 10) and
F1345-40. This also requires a hot water accumulator,
for example, NIBE VPA.
Components
(19) 1 Shunt motor
(23) 1 Shuttle valve, radiator/heater
(88) Temperature sensor,
supplied with F1345 (BT6) / SMO 10
Hot water
When there is a hot water requirement, the heat pump
gives this priority and switches to hot water mode with
one or more compressors. Normally the hot water produc-
tion for one or two series connected VPAs can be supplied.
Hot water charging starts when the hot water sensor
(88) has fallen to the set start temperature. The shuttle
valve (23) is fitted so that it switches between the heat-
ing system and the water heater, i.e. when the accumu-
lator/water heater is charged the valve switches over to
the radiators/floor heating system.
Stopping takes place at the set temperature on the hot
water sensor (88). It is important that the right (not too
high) temperature is set as the heat pump can cut out
with an HP alarm.
The water heater is equipped with the requisite safety
equipment.
Pool heating
The shuttle valve is also used to control pool heating.
