Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Das Produkt ist zum Anschluss an einen USB-Port eines Computers vorgesehen. Dort dient es als externer
Zahlenblock (Keypad) und als USB-Telefon für diverse VOIP-Programme.
Das Produkt entspricht den gesetzlichen, nationalen und europäischen Anforderungen. Alle enthaltenen
Firmennamen und Produktbezeichnungen sind Warenzeichen der jeweiligen Inhaber. Alle Rechte

Anschluss & Installation
Starten Sie Ihren Computer und warten Sie, bis das Betriebssystem vollständig geladen ist.
Schließen Sie danach das Gerät an einen freien USB-Port des Computers an. Das Betriebssystem (minde-
stens Windows XP/Vista erforderlich) erkennt neue Hardware und installiert die Treiber automatisch (im
Betriebssystem enthalten, deshalb liegt kein Datenträger mit Treibern bei).
Wenn Ihr Computer bereits über eine Soundkarte verfügt (z.B. Onboard-Sound des Mainboards), so kann z.B.
bei Windows XP in der Systemsteuerung zwischen der bisherigen Soundkarte und dem USB-Adapter umge-
schaltet werden (Systemsteuerung > Sounds und Audiogeräte > Audio > USB-Audiogerät). Bei Windows Vista
funktioniert dies ähnlich.
Der Zahlenblock arbeitet wie bei einer herkömmlichen Tastatur. Die Num-Lock-Taste ist unabhängig von der
normalen Tastatur, eine LED zeigt die Num-Lock-Funktion an.Nach dem Aufklappen des Geräts wird kann es
wie ein gewöhnliches Klapp-Handy verwendet werden.
Der Hörer befindet sich im oberen Teil des Geräts.
Die Telefontasten links und rechts am Gerät dienen bei entsprechen-
den VOIP-Programmen zum Abheben bzw. Auflegen des Gesprächs
(Tasten müssen ggf. in Ihrer VOIP-Software konfiguriert werden).
Die Tasten „VOL-" und „VOL+" sind vorgesehen zur Lautstärkeein-
stellung der Hörerlautstärke.
Unten in der Klappe befindet sich das Mikrofon.
Tipps & Hinweise
• Das Keypad/USB-Telefon arbeitet ideal z.B. mit Skype™ zusammen; jedoch auch mit vielen anderen VOIP-
Programmen.
• Unter DOS oder im abgesicherten Modus von Windows funktioniert USB nicht (oder nur eingeschränkt für
USB-Tastatur/-Maus).
• Wählen Sie ggf. in der Systemsteuerung die richtige Soundkarte aus (interne Soundkarte bzw. Onboard-
Sound bzw. das Keypad/USB-Telefon). Das Gerät arbeitet wie eine herkömmliche USB-Soundkarte.
Nach dem Anstecken des Keypads/USB-Telefons an den Computer ist dieses normalerweise automatisch
aktiviert.
Es ist erforderlich, dass Sie zuerst das Keypad/USB-Telefon mit Ihrem Computer verbinden,
bevor eine VOIP-Software gestartet wird. Andernfalls wird die interne Soundkarte Ihres
Computers verwendet und nicht das Keypad/USB-Telefon.
• Soll die Soundwiedergabe (bzw. die Mikrofonaufnahme) wieder über die interne Soundkarte Ihres
Computers erfolgen, so können Sie entweder das Keypad/USB-Telefon abstecken, oder Sie wählen wie
oben beschrieben in der Systemsteuerung die entsprechende Soundkarte aus (intern/onboard oder das
Keypad/USB-Telefon).
• Der Mikrofonanschluss Ihres Computers bzw. des Keypads/USB-Telefons muss möglicherweise erst akti-
viert werden. Dies ist bei Windows XP/Vista sehr einfach entweder in der Systemsteuerung möglich oder
über das Lautsprechersymbol in der Menüleiste, sofern bei Ihrem Windows vorhanden. In den Aufnahme-
Eigenschaften ist zu kontrollieren, ob das Mikrofon als Aufnahmegerät aktiviert ist bzw. ob die
Mikrofonlautstärke richtig gewählt ist.
Entsorgung
Entsorgen Sie das Produkt am Ende seiner Lebensdauer gemäß den geltenden gesetzlichen
Bestimmungen.

numeric block (keypad) and USB telephone for several VOIP programmes.

Connection & Installation
Switch your computer on and wait until the operating system is completely booted.
Then connect the device to a free USB port of your computer. The operating system (at least Windows
XP/Vista required) recognises the new hardware and installs the driver automatically (contained in the oper-
ating system; therefore, no data carrier with drivers is included).
When your computer already has a sound card (such as on board sound on the mainboard), you can switch
from the current sound card to the USB adapter in the Control Panel of Windows XP, for example (Control
Panel > Sounds, Speech and Audio Devices > Sounds and Audio Devices > Audio > USB audio device). The
procedure is quite similar in Windows Vista.
The numeric block functions similar to a conventional keyboard. The num-lock key is independent of the nor-
mal keyboard, a LED shows the num-lock function. After folding the device it may be used as a conventional
flip phone.
Tips & Notes
• The keypad/USB telephone perfectly combines e.g. with Skype™; however, also with several other VOIP
programmes.
• USB does not function with DOS or Windows in secured mode (or only restricted for USB keyboard/mouse).
• Select the right sound card in the Control Panel, if necessary (internal sound card or onboard sound or the
keypad/USB telephone). The device functions like a conventional USB sound card.
After plugging the keypad/USB telephone into the computer it will normally be activated automatically.
• In case the sound reproduction (or the microphone recording) is to take place via the internal sound card of
your computer again, you can either disconnect the keypad/USB telephone or select the corresponding
sound card (internal/on board or the keypad/USB telephone) in the Control Panel as described above.
• The microphone connection of your computer or the keypad/USB telephone may need to be activated first.
In Windows XP/Vista, simply use the Control Panel or the loudspeaker symbol in the menu bar, if available
in your Windows. Check in the recording features if the microphone is activated as recording device or if the
volume of the microphone is correctly set.

The receiver is situated in the upper part of the device.
The telephone keys left and right on the device are meant to pick up
or hang up in corresponding VOIP programmes (keys must, under cir-
cumstances, be configured in your VOIP software).
Use the „VOL-" and „VOL+" keys to adjust the volume setting of the
receiver.
Below, in the flap, the microphone is situated.
Connect the keypad/USB telephone with your computer first, before starting a VOIP software.
Otherwise the internal sound card of your computer is used and not the keypad/USB telephone.
Please dispose of the device when it is no longer of use, according to the current statutory
requirements.
