IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children should not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be
done by children without supervision.
PREPARE
WEIGHING
Congratulations! You are now the proud owner of a BODUM®
BISTRO Barista Scale. Please read these instructions
carefully before using.
1.
Remove the scale from the packaging.
Choking hazard! Keep packaging materials out of reach
of young children.
2. Insert three AAA batteries.
3. Place the platform correctly, so the display is easily
visible.
Place the scale on a flat, firm surface - this is essential for
correct measurement.
Press the ON/OFF button to switch on the scale. As soon as
"0" appears, the scale is ready for use.
If you put a bowl on the scale before switching it on, the
weight of the bowl will be included and the display will show
"0". You may then put your items into the bowl for direct
reading of their weight.
When the scale is in use and you want to use a bowl for
weighing, you can simply place a bowl on the scale and
press the ON/OFF button to reset to zero.
If you want to reset the scale to zero, press the ON/OFF
button.
