down. The optimum position is a gap of approx. 50 mm
between the lights and the floor plate of the battery. Once
the required position is reached, the 4 Allen screws (A)
are re-tightened to 6 Nm.
NOTE:
By adjusting the angle more accurately, the pulling device
will be more compact and agile. Through optimised weight
distribution the traction of the drive wheel is also
improved.
DANGER!
• In any case, make sure that the gap between the feet of
the user and the drive wheel is sufficiently large, even at
full steering lock.
• Under no circumstances must the drive wheel touch the
user's feet during driving, this may cause injury.
40
NOTE:
When adjusting the height,
the position of the battery
which is firmly attached to
the steering head will also
change. In order to
achieve the best position
for the battery in terms of
the centre of gravity, the
height of the battery
bracket can be adjusted,
by undoing the 4 Allen
screws (A) of the battery
mounting plate once the
battery had been removed.
The battery mounting plate
can now be pushed up and
Fitting the safety clips to the intermediate sub-frame:
the clamps with the safety clips must be fitted at a gap of
70 mm from the end of the tube. If required, push the
foam rubber padding onto the intermediate sub-frame
prior to assembly and shorten it accordingly. Tighten the
screw of the clamps with a torque of 6 Nm.
70 mm
CAUTION!
Always observe the correct torque.
DANGER!
The tubes of the intermediate sub-frame must, in any
case, be pushed completely into the clamps and must be
at least 15 mm longer than the clamps
Between the ends of the tubes of the intermediate sub-
frame and the drive wheels a gap of at least 20 mm must
be maintained. If this is not the case with a correct
mounting position, the tubes of the intermediate sub-
frame must be shortened with the aid of a pipe cutter, so
that this gap can be maintained.
Changing the coloured attachments
As part of the delivery, a total of 4 colour kits are
included, these consist of a mudguard and side bars in
black, orange, red and blue.
The side bars can be changed easily by removing the 3
Allen screws and swapping the side bars with the colour
you want.
To replace the mudguard, you must remove both Allen
screws as well as the retaining plate on the inside.
Reassemble by following the instructions in reverse
order.
