1 Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Der Infrarot-Scheinwerfer ist speziell für den Einsatz in Video-
Überwachungsanlagen mit einer infrarottauglichen Kamera
konzipiert. Die Kamera lässt sich verdeckt hinter dem Schein-
werfer montieren. Dazu sind zwei Aussparungen (∅ 20 mm)
vorhanden. Als Lichtquelle werden intensiv strahlende Infra-
rot-Leuchtdioden (IR-LEDs) verwendet. Der Scheinwerfer
be sitzt ein wetterfestes Gehäuse (IP 55) und ist dadurch auch
im Außenbereich einsetzbar.
2 Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch
Der Scheinwerfer entspricht allen relevanten Richtlinien der
EU und ist deshalb mit gekennzeichnet.
WARNUNG Der Scheinwerfer strahlt unsichtbares Infrarot-
licht aus. Um Augenschäden zu vermeiden,
nicht mit optischen Geräten (z. B. Fernglas) in
den eingeschalteten Scheinwerfer blicken.

Please read these operating instructions carefully prior to op-
erating the floodlight and keep them for later use.
1 Applications
The infrared floodlight is specially designed for application in
video surveillance systems with a camera suitable for light in
the infrared range. The camera can be installed in such a way
that it is concealed behind the floodlight. For this purpose,
two recesses (∅ 20 mm) are provided. As a light source, ex-
trem ely bright IR LEDs are used. The floodlight has a
weatherproof housing (IP 55) and is therefore also suitable
for outdoor applications.
2 Safety Notes
This floodlight corresponds to all relevant directives of the EU
and is therefore marked with .
WARNING The floodlight radiates invisible light in the in-
frared range. To prevent eye damage, never
look into the floodlight with optical instruments
(e. g. binoculars) when it is switched on.

1 Possibilités dʼutilisation
Le projecteur infrarouge est spécialement conçu pour des uti-
lisations dans des installations de surveillance vidéo avec une
caméra de surveillance sensible aux infrarouges. La caméra
peut être monté de manière masquée derrière le projecteur.
Deux encoches (∅ 20 mm) sont prévues à cet effet. Des LEDs
infrarouges de grande intensité servent de source lumineuse.
Le projecteur possède un boîtier résistant aux intempéries
(IP 55) et peut donc également être installé en extérieur.
2 Conseils dʼutilisation et de sécurité
Le projecteur répond à toutes les directives nécessaires de

Schützen Sie den Scheinwerfer vor extremen Temperaturen
(zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich -30 °C bis +40 °C).

Das Scheinwerfergehäuse ist wetterfest, je doch nicht ab-
solut wasserdicht. Tauchen Sie darum den Scheinwerfer
nicht in Wasser ein.

Wird der Scheinwerfer zweckentfremdet oder nicht richtig
an geschlossen, kann keine Haftung für daraus resultie-
rende Sach- oder Personenschäden und keine Garantie
für den Scheinwerfer übernommen werden.
Soll der Scheinwerfer endgültig aus dem Betrieb
genommen werden, über geben Sie ihn zur um -
weltgerechten Entsorgung einem örtlichen Recyc-
lingbetrieb.
3 Inbetriebnahme
Den Scheinwerfer zunächst nur provisorisch in Betrieb neh-
men, um die Montagestelle für eine optimale Ausleuchtung
festzustellen.
1) Für den Betrieb wird ein stabilisiertes 12-V-Netzgerät
be nötigt (z. B. PSS-1000E von MONACOR). Bei einem
unstabilisierten Netzgerät besteht die Gefahr von Über-

The housing of the floodlight is weatherproof, however, it is
not completely waterproof. Therefore, do not immerse the
floodlight in water.

No guarantee claims for the floodlight and no liability for
any resulting personal damage or material damage will be
accepted if the floodlight is used for other purposes than
originally intended or if it is not correctly connected.
If the floodlight is to be put out of operation defini -
tively, take it to a local recycling plant for a disposal
which is not harmful to the environment.
3 Setting the Floodlight into Operation
For the time being, only set the floodlight into operation pro-
visionally to determine the mounting location for an optimum
illumination.
1) For operating the floodlight, a regulated 12 V power sup-
ply unit is required (e. g. MONACOR PSS-1000E). In case
of a non-regulated power supply unit, there is a risk of

Lorsque le projecteur est définitivement retiré du
service, vous devez le déposer dans une usine de
recyclage de proximité pour contribuer à son élimi-
nation non polluante.

3 Fonctionnement
De manière à déterminer le meilleur lieu de montage pour un
éclairage optimal, nous vous conseillons de considérer, dans
un premier temps, le fonctionnement et lʼinstallation du pro-
jecteur comme provisoire.

spannung, wodurch die LEDs beschädigt werden können
oder sich ihre Lebensdauer reduziert.
An die rote Ader des Anschlusskabels den Pluspol des
Netzgerätes anschließen und an die schwarze Ader den
Minuspol. Die Pole auf keinen Fall vertauschen, sonst
wird der Scheinwerfer beschädigt! Bei einer Außenmon-
tage muss der Stromanschluss wettergeschützt werden.
2) Die komplette Überwachungsanlage einschalten. Zum
Feststellen der geeigneten Montagestelle den Scheinwer-
fer so halten, dass der Überwachungsbereich bei Dunkel-
heit optimal ausgeleuchtet wird (Kontrolle über einen Mo-
nitor). Den Scheinwerfer entsprechend über die beiden
4,5-mm-Bohrungen an einer Halterung festschrauben.
3) Bei Bedarf die Kamera hinter dem Scheinwerfer vor einer
der beiden Aussparungen (∅ 20 mm, siehe Zeichnung)
platzieren.
4 Scheinwerfer säubern
Ist der Scheinwerfer verschmutzt, die IR-Filterscheibe auf der
Frontseite mit einem weichen, angefeuchtetem Tuch säu-
bern. Niemals scheuernde oder chemische Mittel verwenden!

Connect the red core of the connection cable to the
positive pole of the power supply unit and the black core
to the negative pole. Never confuse the poles, otherwise
the floodlight will be damaged! For outside installation,
make the power connection weatherproof.
2) Switch on the entire surveillance system. To determine a
suitable mounting location, position the floodlight in such
a way to provide an optimum illumination of the surveil-
lance zone in the dark (check via a monitor). Via the two
4.5 mm drill holes, screw the floodlight to a support ac -
cord ingly.
3) If required, place the camera behind the floodlight in front
of one of the two recesses (∅ 20 mm, see drawing).
4 Cleaning the Floodlight
In case of impurities, clean the IR filter disk on the front side
with a soft, damp cloth. Never use abrasive detergents or
chemicals!

les pôles sinon le projecteur sera endommagé ! Pour un
montage en extérieur, la connexion au secteur doit être
protégée contre les intempéries.
2) Allumez toute lʼinstallation de surveillance ; pour détermi-
ner le lieu de montage adéquat, maintenez le projecteur
de telle sorte que la zone de surveillance soit éclairée de
manière optimale dans lʼobscurité (contrôle via un moni-
teur). Vissez le projecteur sur un support via les deux per-
çages 4,5 mm.
3) Si besoin, placez la caméra derrière le projecteur devant
une des deux encoches (∅ 20 mm, voir schéma).
4 Nettoyer le projecteur
En cas de salissures, nettoyez le disque de filtre infrarouge sur
la face avant avec un chiffon doux et légèrement humidifié. En
aucun vous ne devez utiliser de produits chimiques ou abrasifs.
