Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Dieser Adapter dient speziell zum Anschluss der
Kamera TVCCD-1600COL von MONACOR an ein
Steuergerät für konventionelle Zoom-Objektive. Da-
durch können die Funktionen Zoom und Fokus des
Kameraobjektives fernbedient werden. Aus dem Sorti-
ment von MONACOR ist hierzu das Steuergerät
PTL-124 geeignet.
Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch
Der Adapter entspricht der EU-Richtlinie für elektro-
magnetische Verträglichkeit 89/336/EWG.
Der Adapter ist nur zur Verwendung im Innenbe-
reich geeignet. Schützen Sie ihn vor Feuchtigkeit
und Hitze (zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich
0 – 40 °C).
Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein trockenes,
weiches Tuch, auf keinen Fall Chemikalien oder
Wasser.
Wird der Adapter zweckentfremdet oder nicht richtig
angeschlossen, kann für eventuelle Schäden keine
Haftung übernommen werden.

Applications
This adapter especially serves for connecting camera
TVCCD-1600COL of MONACOR to a control unit for
standard zoom lenses. Thus, the functions zoom and
focus of the camera lens can remotely be controlled.
The control unit PTL-124 of the MONACOR product
range is suitable for this purpose.
Safety Notes
The adapter corresponds to the directive for electro-
magnetic compatibility 89/336/EEC.
The adapter is only suitable for indoors. Protect it
against humidity and heat (admissible ambient tem-
perature range 0 – 40 °C).
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, by no means
chemicals or water.
If the adapter is used for purposes other than orig-
inally intended or if it is not correctly connected, no
liability can be assumed for possible damage.
If the adapter is to be put out of operation definitive-
ly, take it to a local recycling plant for disposal.

Anschluß des Adapters
1) Die freien Aderenden des Anschlusskabels wie
folgt an ein Steuergerät anschließen:

rot Betriebsspannung +12 V für die Kamera
schwarz Masse
12-V-Steuerspannung zur Zoom-Einstellung*
gelb
(+ an Gelb / - an Orange = Tele)
orange
(+ an Orange / - an Gelb = Weitwinkel)
12-V-Steuerspannung zur Fokus-Einstellung*
grün
(+ an Grün / - an Blau = Fokus fern)
blau
(+ an Blau / - an Grün = Fokus nah)
*Die Polarität bestimmt die Drehrichtung der Stellmotoren im
Objektiv. Durch Umpolen der Spannung an den Anschluss-
paaren wird die Steuerrichtung umgekehrt.
Connection of the Adapter
1) Connect the free core ends of the cable to the con-
trol unit as follows:
Core Colour Connection
red operating voltage +12 V for the camera
black ground
12 V control voltage for zoom adjustment*
yellow
(+ at yellow / - at orange = tele)
orange
(+ at orange / - at yellow = wide angle)
12 V control voltage for focus adjustment*
green
(+ at green / - at blue = focus far away)
blue
(+ at blue / - at green = focus close by)
*The polarity determines the rotating direction of the adjusting
motors in the lens. By changing the polarity of the voltage at
the connecting pairs the control direction is reversed.
2) Connect the plug of the RMA-1600 to the corre-
sponding jack of camera TVCCD-1600COL.

2) Den Anschlussstecker des RMA-1600 in die ent-
sprechende Buchse der Kamera TVCCD-1600COL
stecken.
Hinweis zur Bedienung
Es lässt sich immer nur eine Funktion zur gleichen Zeit
steuern. Werden am Steuergerät die Tasten für die
Zoom- und die Fokus-Funktionen gleichzeitig betätigt,
sind beide Funktionen blockiert.

Notes on the Operation
It is only possible to control one function at the same
time. If the buttons for the functions zoom and focus at
the control unit are actuated at the same time, both
functions are blocked.
