o Make sure that the appliance has cooled down
completely before cleaning it or putting it away.
o Make sure that the cable does not come into
contact with the warm parts of the appliance. Do
not touch the warm parts.
o Make sure that when the toaster is in use, the warm
parts do not come in contact with easily flammable
materials, such as curtains, tablecloths, etc. Fire
hazard!!! The appliance should be at least 1 metre
away from these types of material.
o Never use the appliance to defrost food and only
put slices of bread in the appliance that have not
been spread with butter or margerine, and which
are not too thick to be ejected from the slots.
o Remove the bread crumbs from the appliance on a
regular basis. See the section entitled "Care and
Cleaning".
