Applying the
DynaCox
Orthosis

Before being initially applied the orthosis
must be individually fitted and adjusted to
your body by your orthopaedic technician.
Applying:
Open all the snap locks and Velcros of the

orthosis.
TIP: Applying the orthosis is much easier

if you fold the black pelvis and thigh flap
outwards and Velcro-fasten it.
Put the orthosis around you loosely. It is

important to position the pelvis clasp to
the right height. It must sit in the middle
of the pelvis and must not be too high up
at the waist!
Close the Velcro of the bandage by means

of the grip strap (put your hand in with
fingers stretched out) in front of your
belly.
Lock the snap lock on the pelvis clasp.

Put the knee clasp around your knee.
Close the strap of the knee clasp at the
back of your knee by sticking it through
the loop and then Velcro-fasten it.
Important: Check the distance between

the bottom edge of the knee clasp and
the top edge of your knee cap. The dis-
tance should be the width of 2 fingers.
If the distance is significantly larger, the
