Set up your BodyTel user account

To benefit from all the features of your new BodyTel telemedicine device please register for
an user account at www.bodytel.com. This will enable you to automatically transmit weight
measures from your WeightTel scale to your personal online patient file. Setting up is simple
and free of charge. In order to register you will need:
1. A computer with an active internet connection
2. Your e-mail address
Step by Step instructions:
1. Open your internet browser and enter the following URL into the address field:
http://www.bodytel.com
2. Click on the "Create account" link, located in the upper right corner of the page.
3. In the following window enter your e-mail address into the corresponding field.
Click on "Register".
4. You will receive an e-mail confirmation to the specified address. This may take several
minutes.
5. Open the e-mail sent from the address "server@bodytel.com" with the subject line
"Email-Bestätigungs-Anfrage von www.bodytel.com".
Attention! Please check whether your e-mail client has moved the confirmation e-mail to
the spam or junk mail folder. Should you have not received a confirmation e-mail within
30 Minutes after registering please repeat steps 1 through 5. Please contact our free service
hotline at +800-BODYTEL (+800-0-2639835), Mo - Fry, 9 am - 6 pm, if the problem persists.
6. Click on the link beginning with "https://secure.bodytel.com/de/optinconfirm/".
7. A page will open in your browser reading "Welcome to the first visit to your BodyTel
center". Please read and accept the "Terms of Service" and the "Privacy Policy" by
checking the appropriate boxes. Click on "Next step".
8. Please fill out the required fields (sex, first name, last name) and choose a password.
Click on "Next step".
9. Fill out the remaining fields and click on "Next step".
10. Choose your desired measurement units. The default settings should be: metric system,
mg/dl, BE, 24 h, European.
11. Step 5 shows a summary of the data you have entered. Please check whether all details
are correct and complete the registration procedure by clicking on "Done".
12. Your data has been saved and you will reach the personal front page "My BodyTel".
This page is also displayed after you login at http://www.bodytel.com.
