PolySoft configuration software.
Operation
™
A ISA100 Wireless
process interface communicates the gas
reading, measurement status (PV.STATUS), and device
status (DIAG_STATUS) to the controller.
Alarms
The alarms configured in the gas detector are not transmitted
™
via the ISA100 Wireless
output via the red LED and are not used to trigger
countermeasures. The alarms are non-latching. When alarm
conditions are resolved, the alarm is no longer displayed.
If alarm logic is used for countermeasures, implement alarm
logic in the controller.
Maintenance
In potentially explosive gas atmospheres, the gas detector
can be serviced without declassifying the area.
In areas at risk of dust explosion, the area must be
declassified beforehand.
3.2.2 Dräger Polytron Repeater ISA
The Dräger Polytron Repeater ISA is a version of the Dräger
Polytron 6100 EC WL without measuring function.
3.3
Sensors
The gas detector is intended for use with the DrägerSensor
EC (electrochemical). Select the sensor according to the
target gas to be measured.
