GENERAL SAFETY
Do not use this machine until you have read:
A: "The woodworking machines regulations 1974
(Factories act 1961 SI 1974 No. 903)

B: The operating instructions is spupplied with this
machine. This document is prepared for worlwide
distribution but certain operations described are
prohibited in the U.K. under 1974 woodworking
machines regulations without further guarding being
added, I.E. grooving, rabbeting, tenoning or
moulding.

SPECIFIC SAFETY
1. Ensure you follow the safety rules shouwn in the
operation manual.
2. Ensure you know how to switch off the machine in
an emergency.
3. Always wear eye protection.
4. Do not use a crrcular sawblade smaller then 6/10 of
the maximum diameterblade which can be properly
fitted (see table below).
5. Ensure the riving knive is correctly atjusted. When
replacing the blade, enjure the blade plate is thinner
than the riving knive.
6. Always use a push stick in accordance with the
woodworking machine regulations 1974.
7. Ensure guards are always in position and correctly
atjusted (see 1974 regulations for guidance).
Smallest Blade
IMPORTANT
If your electricity supply conditions present
start-up difficulties we recommend the use
of a BS 3434 type plug and socket.
This work should be done only by a
qualified electrician.
