Main switch
The main switch is used to turn the machine on and off,
and to set it to automatic mode, in which case it can be
switched on and off automatically by an external control
device (e. g. the V10 amplifier).
The switch positions have the following functions:
OFF
The unit is switched off.
ON
The unit is switched on.
AUTO (Ready setting)
In this setting the D10 can be switched on and off from a
amplifier via the R
control system (optional accessory).
If used in conjunction with a amplifier, the D10 is
switched on automatically when the amplifier is set to the
source "DISC" or "CD".
Note:
The main switch is not an isolation switch. Some parts
of the circuit are still live when the unit is switched off.

A brief press on the

• Selects either the CD or SACD layer for playback when
the hybrid SACD is stopped.
• During playback of an SACD with two-channel or
multi-channel track in SACD format this button can be
used to toggle (switch to and fro) between these tracks.
Note:
For correct playback of multi-channel SACDs the D10
must be set to the Downmix mode of operation (see
section entitled 'Multi-channel SACDs').
A long button-press switches the D10's Downmix func-
tion on and off when the disc is stopped (see section
entitled 'Multi-channel SACDs').

A brief press on the
button stops the disc and
terminates playback.
A long press on this button during playback switches the
machine to Pause mode. A brief press on the
button resumes playback.

Fast forward / rewind in order to search for a particular
passage. Fast forward / rewind is ended by pressing the
button, in order to start normal playback.

A brief press on this button starts playback.
A long press on this button cycles through the D10's
repeat functions (see section entitled 'Operating the
D10's REPEAT function').
