The Dyneva light is assembled on delivery and must be adapted to the requirements of the
patient.
1) INFORMATION: The abdominal pad has a red and a black strap guide loop. The ten
sion belt on the red strap guide loop is used to open and close the brace. Open the
strap attached to the red strap guide loop.
2) Place the brace frame on the patient's back in such a way that the sacral pad is positioned on
the sacrum, and the back pads are positioned approximately 4 cm below the shoulder blades
(see fig. 1).
3) Optional: Adjust the back pads (see "Optional: Adjusting the height position of the back
pads" and "Optional: Horizontally adjusting the back pads").
4) Optional: Adapt the fit by bending the tube frames (see fig. 2) or replacing the lower tube
frame (see the option "Replacing the lower tube frame").
5) Center the abdominal pad and adapt its shape by hand if necessary (see fig. 4).
6) Adjust the length of the straps with the auxiliary hook-and-loop fasteners.
7) Use the strap guide loops of the spring adapter to evenly adjust the length of the straps (see
fig. 5). NOTICE! In doing so, ensure that the angle of the springs does not exceed 20°
when the straps are taut (see fig. 7).
8) Trim the straps to length with scissors (see fig. 6).
9) Attach the Y hook-and-loop closure to the strap end.
Optional: Adjusting the height position of the back pads
1) INFORMATION: To adjust the height of the back pads, slide the upper tube frame
inside the spring adapters. The maximum pull-out height is indicated on the tube
frame (see fig. 3).
2) Loosen the upper screw of the cover on the upper tube frame.
3) Slide the tube frame in the holder, noting the maximum pull-out height.

Required tools: 743S1=60 diameter or
743E10 measuring tool
1) Measure the width of the torso 4 cm below
the shoulder blades (dimension A).
2) Measure the width of the torso at the level
of the iliac crest (dimension B).
3) Determine the size of the tube frames using
the measured dimensions and the size
chart (see Page 3).
4) INFORMATION: Determine the size of
the brace (XS/S/M/L/XL/XXL) on the
basis of the width of the torso below
the shoulder blades.
If necessary, order the lower tube frame
one size smaller or bigger and then
replace
it
29R414=XS/S/M/L/XL/XXL).
