2. Turning over the loads
a. By using PRB pulley with a motorized turning over Pal-turn
The load, completely supported by the straps, is turned without contact with the floor.
Rotation is controlled by the Pal-turn
2 lifting means are requested.
b. Turning over a load with 2 (or more) PRB turning over pulleys.
2 (or more) lifting means or one lifting beam are requested.
The load must have a perfectly centred centre of gravity to avoid any runaway.
Rotation by manual action on the load or the straps.
Pulley setting
The choice of straps is the guarantee of security and good functioning of the turning over pulley –
consult Tractel Solutions SAS if in doubt.
Hang the pulley to lifting equipment with a capacity adapted to the WLL (Working Load Limit) of the
pulley.
Latch the strap in the sheave of the pulley and wrap the load.
Close the strap on itself and insure that safety elements are in the correct position.
Take care with the positioning of the strap: the closing part must not be on sharp edges of the load,
neither pass in the pulley during the turning over.
