7. Operating Instructions

Attention!
Be aware of the Safety Instructions (Chapter 3)
Please refer to the sketches on the first pages of this manual.
1. Switch on the device. (button 2)
2. Hold the tip of the voltage tester as close as possible to a power outlet or
cable.
3. If the LED in the test tip flashes, an alternating voltage is attached to the
measuring object. At the same time, a beep sounds. (from 12 V~ to 1000
V~)

8. Maintenance

Only authorized service technicians may repair the instrument.
Changing the battery(s)
If the device does not respond during the function test replace the battery.
1. Open the battery compartment.
2. Replace the spent battery with a new one - note the correct polarity
3. Close the battery compartment.
4. Disposal of the flat battery should meet environmental standards.
Cleaning
If the instrument is dirty after daily usage, it is advised to clean it by using a
humid cloth and a mild household detergent. Prior to cleaning, ensure that
instrument is switched off and disconnected from external voltage supply and
