The Media Browser allows you to browse and play music, photo and movie files stored on an external
USB device, Card and Network.
music-slide show
While listening to music files, you can browse and display photos at the same time. With this option you
are able to use the Music-Slide Sow option.
This function it is available only with the media option.
5. uPnP medIa servers
This section of the guide provides more detail on the various media servers available i.e. WMP
(Windows Media Player)-NSS (with version 11).
5.1 uPnP av or dlna server
The M520 will automatically detect all available UPnP-AV or DLNA compliant content servers on boot up.
No additional setup is necessary on the M520 itself. Some servers may require additional authorization
configuration on the server side, such as the WMP-NSS described next.
5.1.1 Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service (WMP-NSS)
To enable WMP (Windows Media Player)-NSS sharing to the M520, the device must first be authorized.
From the WMP-NSS application, select the following menu options:
Tools->Options->Library->Configure Sharing
Click the checkbox next to the "Share my media to" menu item. Now you should have a list of detected
devices to choose from on the menu below. Selecting a listed device and after right clicking there will
be shown a list of options. Select Properties to view details about each device.
Find the device that matches the MAC address of your M520 and select the "Allow" menu item
