1 Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Diese hochwertigen Lautsprecher der Serie NEOSET
von CARPOWER sind speziell für den Einsatz in Car-
HiFi-Anlagen konzipiert. Sie werden paarweise mit
den dazugehörigen, perfekt abgestimmten Frequenz-
weichen geliefert. Die maximale Belastbarkeit beträgt
200 W (100 W ) und darf auf keinen Fall über-

schritten werden.
2 Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch
Die Lautsprecher und Frequenzweichen müssen fest
und fachgerecht an einer mechanisch stabilen Stelle
im Fahrzeug montiert werden, damit sie sich nicht
lösen und zu gefährlichen Geschossen werden.
Werden die Lautsprecher und Frequenzweichen
zweckentfremdet, falsch angeschlossen, überlastet
oder nicht fachgerecht repariert, kann für sie keine
Garantie und keine Haftung für daraus resultierende
Sach- oder Personenschäden übernommen werden.
Sollen die Lautsprecher und Frequenzweichen end-
gültig aus dem Betrieb genommen werden, überge-
ben Sie sie zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung einem
örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.
3 Inbetriebnahme
3.1 Anschluss
Der Anschluss der Frequenzweiche und der Lautspre-
cher für einen Kanal ist in der nebenstehenden Abbil-
dung dargestellt. Der Anschluss für den zweiten Kanal
ist identisch.
Als Verbindungskabel werden Lautsprecherkabel
empfohlen, bei denen eine Ader gekennzeichnet ist,
z. B. aus der Serie SPC-... von MONACOR. Die
gekennzeichnete Ader immer am entsprechenden
Pluspol anklemmen, sodass keine Verpolung entsteht:

1 Applications
These high-quality speakers of the NEOSET series by
CARPOWER have been specially designed for appli-
cations in car HiFi systems. They are supplied in pairs
with the corresponding crossover networks perfectly
matched. The maximum power capability is 200 W
(100 W ) and must not be exceeded in any case.

2 Safety Notes
The speakers and the crossover networks must be
installed rigidly and expertly at a mechanically sta-
ble place in the car to ensure that they will not work
loose and turn into dangerous projectiles.
No guarantee claims for the units and no liability for
any resulting personal or material damage will be
accepted if the speakers and crossover networks
are used for purposes other than originally intended,
if they are not correctly connected, overloaded, or
not repaired in an expert way.
If the speakers and the crossover networks are to
be put out of operation definitively, take them to a
local recycling plant for a disposal which is not
harmful to the environment.
3 Setting into Operation
3.1 Connection
The connection of the crossover network and the
speakers for one channel is shown in the accompany-
ing figure. The connection for the second channel is
identical.
As connection cables, speaker cables with a coded
core are recommended, e. g. from the MONACOR
SPC-series. Always connect the coded core to the cor-
responding positive pole to prevent reverse polarity:

1) Immer den Pluspol eines Endstufenausgangs mit
dem Pluspol des Frequenzweicheneingangs IN
verbinden.
2) Die Pluspole der Frequenzweichenausgänge mit
den Pluspolen der Lautsprecher verbinden. Am Tief-
mitteltöner sind die Pluspole der Doppelschwingspu-
le durch rote Punkte gekennzeichnet (siehe Pfeile).
3.2 Phasenlage und Pegel für die Hochtöner ein-
stellen
1) Den Schiebeschalter unter der Beschriftung
TWEETER PHASE auf beste Höhenwiedergabe
schalten.
2) Zur Höhenanpassung dient der Schiebeschalter
unter der Beschriftung TWEETER LEVEL. Bei Be-
darf lassen sich die Höhen um 3 dB oder 6 dB
absenken.
Bei den meisten Anlagen ergibt sich eine optimale
Wiedergabe, wenn die Schalter der beiden Frequenz-
weichen auf der gleichen Position stehen.

1) Always connect the positive pole of the power
amplifier output to the positive pole of the cross-
over network input IN.
2) Connect the positive poles of the crossover net-
work outputs to the positive poles of the speakers.
The positive poles of the dual voice coil of the bass-
midrange speaker are marked by red dots (see
arrows).
3.2 Adjusting the phase and the level for the
MAX
tweeters
1) Set the sliding switch below the lettering TWEETER
PHASE to best reproduction of the high frequencies.
2) The sliding switch below the lettering TWEETER
LEVEL serves to match the high frequencies. If
required, the high frequencies can be attenuated
by 3 dB or 6 dB.
For most systems the reproduction is optimum if the
switches of both crossover networks are in the same
position.
