Connection of the subwoofer

Hi-fi / stereo system:
Bass support for hi-fi loudspeakers
The loudspeakers receive the full signal directly from the amplifier, with the subwoofer serving as a support down to
the lowest range. As a rule, the crossover frequency at the subwoofer should not be set too low., i. e. to produce a
substantial overlap with the main speakers, and to maintain a moderate subwoofer level. Testing will determine the
best polarity for your needs.
The connection of the subwoofer to the main speakers in parallel doesn't additionally load the amplifier, as
the input circuit of the subwoofer only uses the voltage information of the signal and doesn't take any power
out of it.
