7.4 Cross stop (Fig. 18)
The cross stop (14) has to be used when making
cross cuts in wooden workpieces.
Slide the cross stop (14) into the slot (21) of
the saw table.
Undo the locking screw (36).
Turn the stop rail (34) until the arrow points to
the angle required.
Re-tighten the fastening screw (36).
Check the gap between the stop rail (34) and
the saw blade (4).
Warning! Do not push the stop rail (34) too
far toward the blade. The distance between
the stop rail (34) and the blade (4) should be
approx. 2 cm.
If necessary, slacken the two knurled screws
(35) and adjust the stop rail (34).
Retighten the knurled screws (35).
7.5 Setting the angle (Fig. 13a, 14)
Slacken the locking lever (9) (see Fig. 14a).
To adjust the angle of the saw blade, push
the hand wheel (8) until the pointer is aligned
with the desired angular setting on the angle
scale.
Secure the angle by tightening the locking
lever (9) (see Fig. 14b).
If needed, the end stop for adjusting the ang-
le of the saw blade can be readjusted for 0°
and 45°. To do this, adjust the two adjustment
screws (32) and (33).
7.6 Adjusting the table width extension (Fig.
19)
The table width extension (10) on the saw
table (1) can be pulled out to the right.
The clamping lever (42) must point away from
the bench-type circular saw to enable the tab-
le width extension (10) to be moved (see Fig.
19a).
To lock the table width extension (10) in a
certain position, the clamping lever (42) must
point towards the machine (see Fig. 19b).
If the parallel stop is used when the table
width extension (10) is extended, the parallel
stop (7) must be set to the dimension of 25
cm on the main scale (22).
Danger! If the parallel stop (7) is not secured
properly, this may cause a kickback.
Warning! Whenever the table width extension
is extended, in particular, always make sure
that the workpiece lies safely on the saw table
and cannot become jammed.
The clamping force of the clamping lever
(42) can be readjusted if necessary. To do so,

slacken the nut (44) and screw the threaded
sleeve (43) out or in as far as required until
the desired clamping force is reached. Then
secure the threaded sleeve (43) again with
the nut (44).
7.7 Charging the Li battery pack (Fig. 20)
1. Remove the rechargeable battery (39) from
the mount (40) by pressing the pushlock
button on the battery and pulling it out of the
mount.
2. Check that your mains voltage is the same as
that marked on the rating plate of the battery
charger. Insert the power plug of the charger
(41) into the socket outlet. The green LED will
then begin to ash.
3. Push the battery pack onto the battery char-
ger.
In section 12 (Charger indicator) you will nd a
table with an explanation of the LED indicator on
the charger.
If the battery pack fails to charge, check for the
following:
voltage at the power socket
whether there is good contact at the charging
contacts of the charging unit
If the battery pack still fails to charge, send
the charger and charging adapter
and the battery pack
to our customer service center.
To ensure that items are properly packaged
and delivered when you send them to us,
please contact our customer service or the
point of sale at which the equipment was
purchased.
When shipping or disposing of batteries and
cordless tools, always ensure that they are
packed individually in plastic bags to prevent
short circuits and res.
To ensure that the battery pack provides long ser-
vice, you should take care to recharge it promptly.
You must recharge the battery pack when you
notice that the performance of the device drops.
Never allow the battery pack to become fully di-
scharged. This will cause it to develop a defect.
Take the fully charged rechargeable battery (39)
out of the charger (41). Push the rechargeable
battery (39) back into the mount (40) on the
