Working output level:
In order to determine the max output level according to the channel loading the
following formula can be applied:
WOlevel = RefOlevel – FCorrection
With: WOlevel: maximum Working output level to guaranteed 54dB (35dB
forSATsignal) of IM3 protection.
RefOlevel: Output level specified
FCorrection: Correction Factor according to channel loading

The channel loading is assumed by:
TV band: the number of analogue channels in each band UHF and VHF for the
split amplifier and by the total of analogue channels in UHF and VHF for thebroad
band amplifier. The loading of digital channel is assumed as negligible due to the
power level difference of at least 10 dB below the analogue.
SAT band: the number of digital transponders and analogue channels in the
satellite band.
