Description
The display shows the status of the software installed in CU 354.
Furthermore, the version code and the product numbers of
configuration files (GSC) read into the unit are shown. You can
also upgrade the software version. Contact Grundfos for further
information.

Selecting the CIM communication module
In this display, you must select the CIM communication module
which is fitted in CU 354. This module is not to be confused with
the CIM 250 module communicating with the external pressure
sensors.
Select each of the submenus, and enter the data required in each
menu.
Each communication module has a series of configuration
submenus and special functions.
CU 354 supports these protocols:
• GENIbus RS-485
• Profibus DP
• Modbus RTU via RS-485
• Modbus TCP and SMS via GSM or GPRS
• Grundfos Remote Management (GRM)
CU 354 supports these CIM modules:
• No module, DDD stand alone unit
• CIM 150
• CIM 200
• CIM 250
• CIM 270
• CIM 500
• Other module (future communication modules).
You find the type of communication module used on
the back of CU 354.
The SIM card PIN code must be set to 4321 before
CIM 270 can establish communication with a GSM
network.
Change the PIN code by inserting the SIM card into a mobile
phone. Consult your mobile phone manual for further details.
Configuration via network
When the CIM module that is fitted in CU 354 has been
configured, the remaining configuration can be done using the
established communication line.
