Replacing the Hot End
Introduction
To replace the hot end, the extruder must first be removed, followed by the remo-
val of the hot end electronics (heating elements and sensor) before the hot end
itself is replaced.
Please note
The nozzle (o) is firmly connected to the hot end and may not be replaced sepa-
rately!
Required tools

2mm and 4mm hex keys
Preparation
Allow the extruder to cool down before retrofitting.
Remove the extruder as described in
In the illustration below, the extruder is shown without the filament cooling
duct (p) for a better understanding. Please note that the duct does not need
to be removed for the hot end replacement!
