KX-A116EXS is the optional handset for the ISDN digital cordless phone
KX-TCD706. This installation manual only describes the steps necessary to
start up the handset. Please read each model's Operating Instructions for
further details of functions.
Installing the Batteries in the Handset
Install the batteries as shown. Then install the handset cover. (See the
picture .)

• USE ONLY WITH Panasonic AC ADAPTOR KX-TCA1CE.
• The AC adaptor must remain connected at all times. (It is normal for the adaptor to
feel warm during use.)
Battery Charge
At the time of shipment, the batteries are not charged. To charge, place the
handset on the charger. (See the picture
for about 15 hours before initial use.

Using the Belt Clip
You can hang the handset on your belt or pocket using the belt clip.
