NOTE
► If the consistency of the compote is still too
chunky, you can puree the content a little after
the programme finishes until you achieve the
desired consistency: Use the BLEND function
t (see section "Blending") to do this.
If you have previously used the COMPOTE
e programme beforehand, it is not abso-
lutely necessary that the fill level is above the
MIN marking when you carry out additional
pureeing.
Please make sure that the fill level is above
the MIN marking for all other purposes,
however.
8) Remove the plug from the mains power socket
and the connector 3 from the built-in plug 4.
9) Remove the lid 8 carefully from the blender
jug 5 and place it to one side.
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
Be careful when opening the lid 8.

Hot vapour can escape! We recommend the
use of oven gloves.
You can now serve the compote in dishes or a
bowl.
NOTE
► Clean the appliance after every use (see
section "Cleaning and care"). Otherwise resi-
dues from the previous cooking process that
may be left on the bottom of the container
could burn.

Preparing smoothies/milkshakes

1) Cut the fruit/vegetables into pieces of around
2 cm and place these in the blender jug 5.
2) Fill the blender jug 5 up to no more than the
MAX - 1600 ml marking with liquids. Always
fill up to at least the MIN - 1300 ml marking!

3) Place the lid 8 on the blender jug 5. Ensure
that the contact plug 1 in the lid 8 fits cor-
rectly in the safety socket 2.
4) Insert the connector 3 into the built-in plug 4
on the appliance.
5) Insert the plug into a mains power socket. You
will hear a beep and the programme indicators
flash.
6) Press the MODE button 0 repeatedly until the
SMOOTHIE programme indicator
to flash.
7) Press the START/STOP button u. You will hear
a beep and the SMOOTHIE programme indi-
r flashes.

Preparation of the drink now takes place automati-
cally. The programme runs for 2 minutes.
NOTE
► You can stop the preparation process at any
time by pressing the START/STOP button u
(for about 2 seconds, until you hear a beep).
As soon as the preparation process is complete,
the appliance will stop automatically. You will hear
a beep and the SMOOTHIE indicator light
flashes.
