3. Intended use

Intended use also includes following all instructions in the Quick Reference Guide.
The Flex Acoustic Boundary product is designed exclusively for commercial use as office furniture or furniture for training facilities. Any other
use, or use beyond the specified intended use is considered improper use. Improper use of the product may result in risk to life and limb or
material damage. For this reason, improper use is prohibited. In case of improper use, Steelcase assumes no liability for any damage that may
occur and does not guarantee that the components will function properly. Improper use includes:
■ Use as a tabletop
■ Use as a climbing aid
■ Attachment of other objects as whiteboards/screens or pinnable objects
■ Outdoor use
■ Use in damp rooms
Use of the Flex Acoustic Boundary top panel (cover) for storage

This product can be used by children 8 years of age and older, and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, if they are supervised, or have been instructed in the safe use of the product, and understand the dangers
associated with use of the product. Children are not allowed to play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance tasks must not be
performed by unsupervised children.

4. Product description

The movable Flex Acoustic Boundary product offers flexible arrangement options and acoustic privacy. It is perfectly suited to the
presentation of information in combination with whiteboards and screens.
Product parts:
- Cover made from PET
- Internal structure made of cardboard
-
Product base consisting of melamine panels, metal frame, and 4 rotatable and lockable castors
- 8 supports (2 rotatable, plastic supports each side, and 2 fixed supports on each side at the lower edge)
The PET product cover is available in 2 colours (light-grey or dark-grey).

5. Operation

The Flex Acoustic Boundary product may only be used and operated in a technically perfect condition and in compliance with the Quick User
Guide.
Users can move the product as needed and it can be used for storage of whiteboards, screens and pinnable objects.
Before attaching a whiteboard or screen, make sure that:
■ Only whiteboards/screens specially made for use with the product can be used and only after it has been properly assembled and if it is in
a technically perfect condition.

6. Transport and assembly

Check the delivery contents:
After unpacking, check the product immediately for damage sustained during transportation and for completeness; inform the manufacturer of
any damage as soon as possible.

For assembling the Flex Acoustic Boundary, please follow the separately attached assembly instructions.
