red test lead to the "VOLT" socket (right).
2. Set the rotary switch to "V= 200 m", "V= 20V" or "V= 1000"
3. Connect the test probes to the object to be measured (load, cir-
cuit, etc.).
4. The respective polarity of the measured value is shown in the
display, together with the present measured value.
The DC voltage range "V~ offers an input resistance of approx.
10MOhm. When a "-" appears in front of the DC voltage measured
value, the measured voltage is negative (or the test leads are rever-
sed).
Note!
Due to the fact that the measurement input is very sensitive, it
may be that random measured values ("phantom measured va-
lues") are displayed even with test leads unconnected (not
connected to a circuit). This "manifestation" is normal and dis-
appears as soon as a measurement is performed.
D AC current measurement
To measure AC currents, proceed as follows:
Set the rotary switch to "A~ 20", "A~ 200" or "A~ 1000".
Do not enclose more than one insulated cable in a single-phase sy-
stem or several insulated cables in a multiphase system. It is es-
sential to observe safety requirements.
