6 Legal information

6.1 Liability
The manufacturer's warranty applies only if the device has been used under the conditions and for
the purposes described. The manufacturer recommends that the device be used and maintained
according to the instructions for use.
6.2 CE Conformity
This device meets the requirements of the 93 / 42 / EEC guidelines for medical devices. This
device has been classified as a class I device according to the classification criteria outlined in
appendix IX of the guidelines. The declaration of conformity was therefore created by Otto Bock
with sole responsibility according to appendix VII of the guidelines.

1.2 Fonction
L'orthèse a pour objectif de recentrer la rotule dans sa position physiologique lorsque le genou
présente un angle de flexion compris entre environ 10 et 30°.
2 Utilisation
2.1 Emploi prévu
Cette orthèse est exclusivement destinée à l'appareillage orthétique du genou.
2.2 Indications
L'orthèse se prête au traitement des affections suivantes :
• Troubles du sillon patellaire
• Syndrome douloureux fémoro-patellaire
• Arthrose rétropatellaire
• Chondropathie/Chondromalacie patellaire
• État après luxation et subluxation rotulienne
• État après libération latérale
• État après lésion du tendon rotulien
L'indication est déterminée par le médecin.
