Controlling the suction level

Turn the control knob to infinitely adjust the suction
level to the level required.
Low power range
= For vacuuming delicate materials, e.g. delicate

upholstery, curtains, etc.
Medium power range
= For daily vacuuming of lightly soiled floors.

= For vacuuming durable floor coverings, hard floors

and heavy deposits of dirt.
Vacuuming

Caution
Floor nozzles are subject to a certain amount of
wear, depending on the type of hard floors you have
(e.g. rough, rustic tiles). You must therefore check
the underside of the floor nozzle at regular intervals.
Worn undersides of floor nozzles may have sharp
edges that can damage delicate hard floors, such as
parquet or linoleum. The manufacturer does not ac-
cept any responsibility for damage caused by worn
floor nozzles.

If you are vacuuming up relatively large particles, make
sure that you vacuum them up successively and careful-
ly to ensure that the vacuum channel of the floor nozzle
does not become blocked.
If necessary, you should raise the nozzle in order to
better vacuum up the dirt particles.
Vacuuming with accessories

Attach the nozzles to the suction pipe or handle as re-
quired:
a) Crevice nozzle for vacuuming crevices and corners,
etc.
b) Upholstery nozzle for vacuuming upholstered furni-
ture, curtains, etc.
c) Animal-hair nozzle
d) Hard-floor nozzle for vacuuming hard floor coverings
(tiles, parquet flooring, etc.)

Turbo-brush

The turbo brush vacuums and brushes carpets when
connected to the vacuum cleaner. It is particularly
suitable for removing dust, fluff, threads and hair.
It noticeably refreshes trodden down carpet pile.
The turbo brush can be used on hard flooring and
carpets.

a) Fit the turbo brush onto the suction pipe.

b) Push the telescopic pipe into the supports of the
turbo brush until it audibly engages.
Press the unlocking sleeve and pull out the tele-
scopic pipe to remove it.(Equipment will vary with
each model)
Vacuuming with the brush

Please observe!
Only vacuum using the brush on full suction power, i.e.
max. performance of the vacuum cleaner.

If the turbo brush is vacuuming too strongly, i.e.
the slideforce is too high, you can change the slide
force by setting the suction power position, thus
enabling an optimum cleaning effect for the diffe-
rent floor coverings.

Only brush the fringes in the direction of the arrow.
Maintenance
Always switch off the vacuum cleaner and pull out the
plugbefore performing any maintenance work. Remo-
ve theturbo brush from the suction / telescopic pipe.

a) Cut off any wrapped around hair or threads using a
pair of scissors.
b) Then vacuum up the threads and hair using the
corner nozzle.

You can use the parking aid on the back of the vacuum
cleaner if you want to stop vacuuming for a short time.
After switching off the appliance, slide the hook on
the floor nozzle into the parking aid.

When vacuuming stairs, the appliance must be positi-
oned at the bottom of the stairs. If it does not reach
far enough, the appliance can also be carried using the
carrying handle.

After vacuuming

Switch off the appliance.
Pull out the mains plug.
Briefly pull on the power cord and then let go. (The
power cord retracts automatically.)

Unlock the telescopic tube by moving the sliding
switch in the direction of the arrow, and slide one
tube into the other.

To store the appliance, use the storage aid on the un-
derside.
a) Prop up the appliance on the hose or dust-container
