Your warranty is subject to immediate termination if the camera is taken
apart, modified or repaired by unauthorized personnel or third parties.
Note: Please note, a plugged-in power adapter can be dangerous. Handle

16. Maintenance and Disposal

Care: Do not use any corrosive cleaners, such as methylated
spirits, thinners, etc. to clean the camera housing and supplied
accessory. If necessary, clean system components with a soft,
dry cloth.
Disposal: For disposal, separate packaging into different types
and dispose of them following environmental regulations in sup-
plied collection containers. Batteries and storage batteries may
not be disposed in domestic waste. Consumers are obliged by
law to return used batteries to communal collection points or
dealers selling batteries. Storage batteries and batteries have
the symbols located just right of this text.
Correct disposal of product: The adjacent symbol indicates
that electrical and electronic equipment may not be disposed
of in domestic waste in the EU. Please use the return and collection points of
your local council or contact the dealer you purchased the product from. This
prevents potentially harmful effects on the environment and health due to
incorrect disposal. For further information contact the respective department
of your local council.

17. Warranty and service

VenTrade, as defined below, guarantees this SECACAM-branded hardware
product against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for
a warranty period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of retail purchase by the
original end-user ('Warranty Period'). If a hardware defect arises and a valid
claim is received within the Warranty Period, VenTrade will, at its own dis-
cretion, choose to either: (1) repair the hardware defect at no charge, using
