CASE 1 – The language bar is visible (as shown in the figure):
Click on the two-letter code of
the language bar showing the
actual keyboard layout used.
Just choose the correct
keyboard layout from the list
(e.g. EN for US 'QWERTY' layout
layout). Afterwards all keys
should already be mapped
correctly and work as expected.
CASE 2 – The language bar is not visible (as shown in the figure):
To enable the language bar, proceed as follows:
Open the control panel
Click on 'Regional and language options'
Change to the tab 'languages'
Click to 'details' in the 'text services and input languages' section
Change to 'language bar' (could be found in the 'settings' section)
Activate the check-box 'show language bar on the desktop'
Close all dialog windows by clicking to 'OK'
Continue as described in case 1
