A-2 Cooking meat (without browning):
Put the raw meat on a suitable plate and place it on the turntable.
Use the grill function afterwards to brown the meat.
A-3 Vegetables:
Put the vegetables in a suitable bowl with some water and place it on the turntable.
A-4 Noodles/pasta:
Put the pasta in a suitable container and cover with cold water; place the container on the turntable.
A-5 Baked potatoes:
Put the raw, unpeeled potatoes on a suitable plate and place it in the centre of the oven.
A-6 Fish:
Place the fi sh on a suitable container in the centre of the oven.
A-7 Beverages:
Put the beverage in a suitable container and place it on the turntable.
A-8 Popcorn:
For microwave popcorn (available in bags). Always refer to the manufacturer's instructions on the package.
Setting multiple programmes
The unit may be set for a maximum of two programmes running consecutively, e.g. defrosting, followed by cooking with the
microwave function. Any defrosting, microwave or grill programme as well as a combination of programmes may be selected. Any
defrosting programme must of course run before any cooking programme can be started.
Example: 10 minutes defrosting, followed by cooking with the microwave function for 5 minutes at 80% power.

Hint: This memory function is especially helpful when using the microwave to cook food at different power settings. While a higher
power setting is selected initially, the power can be reduced at a later stage in order to keep the food hot, and to ensure that
the heat is evenly distributed when the food is already done.
Kitchen timer
The unit can be used separately as a kitchen timer.

Note: Should you experience a problem when switching the appliance on, fi rst verify that the safety device is not activated.
∙ Before cleaning the appliance, ensure it is disconnected from the mains and has cooled down completely.
∙ Do not clean the unit with water: ensure that no water is allowed to enter the ventilation slots on the inside or outside of the unit.
Do not use any steam cleaning appliances for cleaning.
∙ The entire unit may be wiped with a slightly damp lint-free cloth and a mild household detergent. Wipe thoroughly dry afterwards.
∙ Do not use abrasives or harsh cleaning solutions. Commercially available cleaning sprays for conventional baking ovens are not
to be used.
∙ The interior surfaces must be cleaned thoroughly after each cycle of use. Any food residue must be removed.
∙ The inside of the door, the door frame, the roller ring/drive unit and the guiding track area underneath the glass turntable must be
kept clean at all times.
∙ The grill rack, the glass turntable and the roller ring/drive unit may be cleaned with warm soapy water.
