BATTERY POWER
The unit requires 2 "AAA" batteries (not included). Open the battery door and insert
the batteries in the battery compartment, being careful to position them correctly
according to the diagram on the unit. Replace the battery compartment door.
The BATTERY LOW INDICATOR will appear when the battery power is low.
MEMORY BACKUP
Once the unit is out of battery power, you have 30 seconds to change the new batteries.
If the batteries are out for more than 30 seconds you may need to reset all the radio
stations.
CHANGING BATTERIES
When changing batteries, make sure to power off the unit by pressing POWER on/off
button and the display will change to clock mode..
BATTERY PRECAUTION
* When the batteries are low, erratic information may appear on LCD Display.
In order to reset the display, remove the old batteries, wait 5 minutes and install the
new batteries. The preset memories must be reset.
* Use batteries of correct size and type only.
* Observe correct polarity when installing batteries.
* Do not mix different types of batteries, or old and new batteries.
