Installation of the batteries in the FX Quechua100
The «crossed out bin» sign means that this product and the batteries it contains
cannot be disposed of in domestic waste.
They are subject to a specific type of sorting. Take the batteries and your
unusable electronic product to an authorised collection area for recycling. This
careful use of your electronic waste protects the environment and your health.

FIRST USE
Belt Clip
1. Remove the cover behind the appliance by
releasing the lock.
2. Insert 3 AAA-LR6 1,5V alkaline batteries or
Ni- MH AAA-LR3 1,2 V rechargeable batteries
according to the polarity show on diagram 3
and on the battery cover.
3. Replace the battery cover and secure the
cover with the lock (figures 3 and 4).
Precautions: The appliances have an energy
saving system, but it is better to turn them off
if you are not using them over a long period.
Replace all batteries together and do not mix
old batteries with new.
Do not mix alkaline batteries with rechargeable
batteries.
Do not attempt to recharge alkaline batteries.
Installation of belt clip :
1. Slip the clip into the slot at the back of the apparatus
as in diagram 2
2. A «click» will show that it has reached its locked
position.
Removal of belt clip :
1. Lift the lock from the belt clip while removing it from
the body of the talkie walkie
2. Holding the lock in a raised position, move the belt
clip upwards.
