feed water for which there are regulatory limits and monitoring requirements related to public health,
public safety, food or beverage manufacture or processing, it is the responsibility of the user of this
instrument to know and abide by any applicable regulation and to have sufficient and appropriate
mechanisms in place for compliance with applicable regulations in the event of malfunction of the
instrument.
The CL17sc analyzer measures the free chlorine or total chlorine concentration in water in the range
of 0.04 to 10 mg/L at 150 second intervals.
Connect the analyzer to an SC Controller for power, operation, data collection, data transmission and
diagnostics. Refer to the SC Controller manual for an overview of the controller.
Note: More than one analyzer can be connected to an SC Controller if the controller has more than one quick-
connect fitting.

Flow meter
The analyzer has a flow meter that measures the sample flow through the analyzer. Refer to
on page 6.
Sample flows through the analyzer only when the analyzer flushes the cell. At other times, there is no
sample flow and the flow rate shown is zero. Push the RIGHT arrow on the controller to show the
flow rate.
