Test ing batteries
• Se t the function switch to "te st".
O nly the batte ry in the first slot (the le ft one) is te ste d. The te st
LED (the white one at the top) will light up to indicate the stre ngth
of the batte ry (no light means no powe r; bright light me ans a lot
of powe r). Batte rie s in othe r slots will be charge d in the
me antim e.
Discharg ing batter ies
• Se t the function switch to "discharge " (this option is not available
for 9V batte rie s). The batte rie s' red LEDs will be switche d off to
indicate the batte ries are be ing discharged.
Note: the de vice will not switch to charge mode automatically
afte r discharge. C he ck if the batte ries are fully discharge d using
the 'test' function.
Charg ing batteries
• Se t the function switch to "charge ".
The individual re d LED lights up to indicate the inse rte d batte ry is
be ing charged.
Note: the charging proce ss is not stopped automatically when the
batte ries are fully charged.
