7. Tips
Clean your car after driving days from dust and dirt (brush, air pressure, towel).
Cleaning sprays can be used for strong polluted parts, but be careful not to harm the plastic, if
you are not sure please make a careful test before.
After cleaning, please grease / oil all bearings, gliding parts etc.
Clean the body only with dish soap –please do not use cleaner, it might harm the body.
To avoid problems with the re-assembling: please work with numbered small bowls, and maybe take
your handy to make a disassembling video, it will help you to re assemble the car.
Do not drive until the ESC quits, use a stopwatch to determine the running time and leave 20%
capacity in the battery for a long lifetime.
If components are not waterproof, please avoid running in rain or when its wet, electronic might get
damaged.
Glue the tires to the rims with ca glue for tires, otherwise tires might be loose on the rims and rotate
on the rims especially when cars have much power.
Screws can be secured by Loctite, if you cannot unscrew by normal force, please heat the screw with
a soldering iron (best: 80W) some seconds, then you should easily be able to unscrew.
For re-assembling please use Loctite (middle strong) on the first winding of the screw.
Stuck parts like bearings on an axis, please heat carefully with a heat gun or hairdryer, then use a
hammer with a rubber head, or a wood piece protected with a towel to carefully push against the
bearing to get it off the axis.
