Turn Unit On
Settings
Generally Valid Buttons
Starting Up
First turn the unit on with the main switch (14). Later press
on the unit or POWER on the remote control to turn the unit on
and off.
The display (3) shows HELLO, LOAD and NO DISC.

After being turned on the unit goes into DVD mode. You can se-
lect other signal sources (Radio, USB, AUX) if NO DISC is displayed.
Press SOURCE (unit button (11), remote control button (23)).
Turn your TV set on and select the correct video mode, i.e. cor-
responding to the selected connection (component video, S-video,
etc.).
Set DVD 4620 HC as required.
Settings and access of the settings is described in chapter Menus.
Picture settings are described under General Setup Menu in point TV
Display and in menu Video Setup.
Operation
Following remote control buttons have the same meaning for all DVD
4620 HC functions:

Press POWER (1) to turn the unit on/off.
■
Press MUTE (26) to mute the sound; press again to unmute.
■
Use the numeric buttons (4) to enter chapter numbers, station
frequencies, etc. Numbers greater than 10 enter with 10+ (5),
repeatedly if necessary.

Press VOLUME (24) to increase (+) or decrease (-) the volume.
■
Press CHANNEL (22) to change the volume setting for each channel.
■
Press
REV, FWD (18, 17) for fast forward/ rewind functions
(movie, music, station search).

Press
CH+, CH- (31, 32) in playback mode (movie chapter,
music title, station preset) to skip forward/back.
■
Press SOURCE (23) to select a signal source: DVD, Radio, AUX IN.
■
Press SETUP (6) in DVD mode to access the settings menu (see
chapter Menus).
■
Press PROLOGIC II (29) to activate/deactivate the Prologic settings.
