Installation
4.1
Connection
The sensors are installed to a transmitter by using a VP
(analog sensors) or AK9 (ISM sensors) connector cable.
Cables in different lengths 2 – 50 m are available from
METTLER TOLEDO.
h
Notice: Cable and terminal assignment can be found in
the METTLER TOLEDO cable and / or transmitter instruction

Mounting the sensor
Before mounting the sensor into a housing remove the
protection cap on the sensor. The sensor can then be mounted
into an InFit / InTrac Series housing from METTLER TOELDO.
Alternatively, the 12 mm sensors can be mounted directly
through a socket with inside thread Pg 13.5 and securely
tightened via the Pg 13.5 threaded sleeve.
h
Notice: For connecting the cable to the terminals of the
transmitter, please refer to the instructions given in the
METTLER TOLEDO transmitter manual (www.mt.com/pro-
transmitters)
