VOLTAGE CONVERTER 220 / 230V - 110 / 115V
This voltage converter is suitable for operating 110V devices from the USA in Europe. The operating
mode of the converter can be switched so that the converter can also be used to operate European
230V devices in the USA. This manual describes how to operate in Europe.
The converter only converts the voltage, the mains frequency (50Hz in Europe, 60Hz in USA) is not
converted. For most devices this is not a problem - but some (older) devices where the speed
depends on the mains frequency are not suitable for operation on the voltage converter. This could
e.g. be the case with an electric clock, or with an old record player. In case of doubt, please ask the
manufacturer of your device if it is suitable for operation at a mains frequency of 50Hz.
The voltage converter was designed as a power transformer. The voltage converter offers no
electrical isolation from the mains.
CAUTION - PLEASE CHECK BEFORE OPERATING:

The rear voltage selector switch should be set to the on-site mains voltage. When operating in
Europe, the switch should be set to 220V:
