Procedure
The processor slot is covered with a protective cap to protect the spring contacts.
In the event of a return for warranty, the mainboard will only be accepted by Fujitsu
Technology Solutions with the protective cap firmly attached.

Please note that, depending on the type of heat sink fitted, different heat
sink mounts are required on the mainboard.
► Depending on the model variant, it may be necessary pull a protective foil off the heat
sink or to coat the heat sink with heat conducting paste before fitting it.
► Attach the heat sink either using four screws or by pushing it into the
mounting, as appropriate for your model.

Installing and removing a processor
► Remove the heat sink.
► Press down on the lever and unlatch it.
► Fold up the holder.
► Hold the processor between your thumb
and index finger and insert it into the slot
(b), so that both notches on the processor
line up with the two corresponding
notches on the slot (a).
► Press the lever downwards until it
latches back into position.
► Remove the protective cap and keep
in a safe place.
